Cyprus appears to have taken the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) very serious, as evident by various governmental accounts on different platforms.
The implementation of the CAP for 2023-2027 aligns well with Carbon Farming objectives, given its strong emphasis on climate action and environmental protection. Numerous funded programs, such as eco-schemes and rural development measures, support these goals.
However, a crucial aspect that needs recognition is ensuring that farmers are aware of these opportunities. The CAP includes mechanisms for disseminating information and assisting farmers with support in applications.
