Soil management
Soil organic C (SOC) sequestration will be utilised as one of the most important strategies to reduce GHGs emissions with a significant potential to mitigate climate change. Farm-level MRV protocols to quantify improvements in SOC levels (tCO2eq) will be designed.
Crop management
During test trials in various pilot sites, yield, plant growth, and all the input factors related to crop cultivation such as machinery, fertiliser application, fossil fuel consumption, and irrigation will be taken into account.
Post-harvest management
Reduce carbon footprint by quantifying the impact of all agricultural activities (in the field and post-harvest) based on Life Cycle Assessment.
