- A stronger collaboration between agribusiness and academia is necessary for an accelerated adoption of carbon farming technologies.
- To overcome scepticism and limited interest, hands-on activities such as demonstration plots, field trials, and simulation events are critical for increasing farmer engagement.
- The understanding of the carbon cycle and its environmental effects is essential in policy making and must always include the local context.
- The CARBONICA project has dedicated tasks towards raising the awareness and expanding the knowledge of farmers and agricultural professionals regarding carbon farming practices.
