Thanos Arampatzis | Project Manager reframe.food
Thanos Arampatzis is a Project Manager at reframe.food. He holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MSc in Pharmaceutical Design & Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and a PhD in Bioengineering/Pharmaceutical Technology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. With a solid background spanning both industry and academia, Thanos brings extensive experience in research methodologies and project management to his role. Throughout his career, Thanos has been involved in managing and implementing interdisciplinary research projects at both European and national levels.
Blagoja Mukanov | CEO / Executive Director AgFutura Technologies
Mr. Blagoja Mukanov is an expert in applied economics in agriculture and international agricultural development, with a strong focus on digital technologies. With over 18 years of practical experience and an academic certification in International Development, specializing in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, he brings extensive knowledge to the field. His primary professional focus is on precision agriculture and farming business development. In 2016, Mr. Mukanov founded AgFutura Technologies, one of the first companies in the Republic of North Macedonia dedicated to implementing precision agriculture for both large- and small-scale farming. The company is committed to transforming the region’s traditional agricultural model through innovative solutions. A key aspect of AgFutura Technologies is its expertise in project development and execution, particularly within European (Horizon) and national projects. Since its inception, Mr. Mukanov has led the execution of over 10 Horizon projects and numerous national initiatives, serving as a senior consultant and researcher.


Pavlina Zdraveva | Climate Change Policy Advisor
Pavlina Zdraveva is a senior climate policy expert with over 20 years of experience in climate change mitigation, adaptation, transparency, and green financing. She has led and contributed to numerous climate projects in North Macedonia and across the Europe and Central Asia region. Pavlina has collaborated extensively with the World Bank, FAO, UNDP, and GIZ, providing policy advice, climate governance, and integrating resilience into development planning. Her work emphasizes innovation and gender-responsive approaches across key sectors, including agriculture, energy, and waste. She is also an active contributor to SDEWES Skopje, supporting the Horizon Europe project SCALE-UP, which focuses on unlocking bioeconomy potential and enhancing climate resilience in the agri-food sector across Europe.
Jordan Hristov | Agricultural Economist and Researcher, European Commission JRC, Seville
Jordan Hristov is an Agricultural Economist currently working as a freelancer after being for six years with the “Economics of Food Systems” Unit at the European Commission Joint Research Centre in Seville. His work covers modelling of different agricultural, environmental and climate change policies. Jordan is also part of the CAPRI modelling team. Before joining the JRC in 2018, Jordan worked as researcher at the AgriFood Policy Centre and Centre for Environmental and Climate Science (CEC) in Lund with agent-based modelling. Jordan holds a PhD in Economics from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala. He also holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the same University and a BA in Agricultural Economics from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje.


Anastasia Panteli | Operations Manager and Agriculturist, Atsas Organic Farm
Anastasia Panteli is the Operations Manager and Agriculturist of Atsas Organic Farm for the last five years. Atsas Organic Farm specializes in the production of high phenolic extra virgin olive oil, through the application of organic and permaculture farming. Anastasia holds a degree in Agriculture from the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science of the Cyprus University of Technology with specialization in Crop Science and Technology.
Antonis Politis | Communication Officer, Agricultural Cooperative Union of Zagora-Pilio / Zagorin Hellas
Antonis Politis is an economist and social scientist. Born in Volos in 1987, he grew up in Zagora, Pelion, Greece. He earned his master’s degree in “Applied Economics” from the University of Thessaly after attending Democritus University of Thrace’s Department of “Social Administration and Political Science”. He speaks English very well. At the Agricultural Cooperative of Zagora Pelion “ZAGORIN”, he serves as the Communications Manager and actively participates in various initiatives to promote the “ZAGORIN” apple brand. These include various projects such as “Delicious EuPDOApples”, “Life PureAgroH2O,” and Operational Groups – Measure 16 “AFOOT.”
