The European Commission (DG CLIMA) will host the first Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming (CRCF) Days on 20–21 May 2026 (hybrid: Brussels and online), focusing on the implementation of Regulation (EU/2024/3012). Of particular relevance to this forum is Day 2 (21 May), dedicated to Carbon Farming, which will address:
- developments in certification methodologies
- the role of carbon farming within the EU climate policy framework
- stakeholder engagement across the value chain
The event will bring together project developers, suppliers, buyers, public authorities, and other stakeholders to exchange views on key challenges and opportunities, and to contribute to discussions on market development, including initiatives such as the EU Buyers’ Club.
