To develop a solid network of stakeholders for Carbonica, the consortium participated in several events in Greece, Cyprus and North Macedonia. The aim of presenting the project in the specific events was to bring interested parties together, exchange expertise and ideas and further communicate the current state-of-the-art research that the project is bringing forward.

NORTH MACEDONIA
The 3rd International Meeting AGRISCIENCE & PRACTICE (ASP 2023)
Organised by the Faculty of Agriculture, of the Goce Delcev University of Stip, ASP 2023 (19-20/ 04/ 2023) gave unique opportunities for presentation and discussion of original scientific and practical results. The utter goal of this event is to link research and field work in the agricultural sector, within the MK ecosystem. Carbonica Partners presented the project to the Agricultural academic community, as well as several carbon farming stakeholder groups and the project was met with great curiosity and appraisal.
GREECE
KA Polyconference
In Greece, Scientific Coordinator, Professor Zalides also presented Carbonica to the 17th KA Polyconference (18/03/2023). This event is organised by KA, which stands for “Innovation and Development” and is a long-standing institution that brings forward the most relevant and up-to-date discussions. Bringing together a diverse community of professionals, the event facilitated meaningful discussions, promoting collaboration, and showcasing innovative projects, aiming to educate and empower attendees.
The Green Business Model of Carbon Farming
On the 7th of April 2023, the Region of Central Greece organised an Info Day to promote the benefits and sustainability of carbon farming practices in Stylida, Greece. Among the several topics discussed, there was a focus on funding opportunities through carbon farming, on a national and EU level, within the CAP framework. Carbonica was then presented, leading the discussion on new technologies and services that will become available to farmers, through the process of accreditation. The Interbalkan Center for the Environment hosted these presentations, attracting stakeholders from Greece. The project OliveUp was presented on the same occasion, as a successful example of Carbon Farming in olive cultivation in Central Greece.
Agrifood & Businesses: Cooperation Opportunities with KEAGRO
i-BEC presented the Carbonica EU project at the Info Day titled Agrifood & Businesses: Cooperation Opportunities with KEAGRO. This event took place on 31.05.2023, in Thessaloniki, Greece. The speaker, Dr Paraskevi Chantzi, explained how MRV can help in brand naming for products of reduced carbon footprint to representatives of the agri-food industry in the Federation of Industries of Greece.
CYPRUS
RSCy2023 Ninth International Conference on Remote Sensing and Geoinformation
This event was organised by Carbonica partner ECoE in cooperation with ESA, NASA, Copernicus, DLR, Group On Earth Observations, the Department of Electronic Communications of the Ministry of Communications and Works, the Technical Chamber of Cyprus, the Cyprus Department of Meteorology and the Agricultural Research Institute. The conference aimed at networking with leading experts in the field of Remote Sensing and Geo-information. The conference took place in Ayia Napa, Cyprus on 3-5 April, 2023 and featured a comprehensive program of research presentations. Leading scientists and researchers from around the world shared the latest findings or methodologies related to remote sensing, geoinformation, and environmental applications. Attendees gained valuable insights into innovative approaches for monitoring and managing the environment using geospatial technologies, while in this framework partners ECoE and i-BEC had a very productive meeting.
