This technical paper explores the operational framework, technological components, and implementation strategies of carbon farming as presented in the CARBONICA project\u2014an EU-funded initiative supporting climate-resilient agriculture in Greece, Cyprus, and North Macedonia. It delves into the practical application of carbon sequestration practices such as cover cropping, reduced tillage, agroforestry, and digital agriculture tools to mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The paper highlights the integration of Earth Observation (EO) technologies, in-situ data, and remote sensing for monitoring carbon impacts, supported by Multi-Actor Platforms (MAPs) that foster collaboration across academia, industry, government, and civil society. Key focus areas include prototype development, feasibility assessment, and technology readiness of carbon farming solutions. The technical implementation is supported by EU policy instruments\u2014especially the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), European Green Deal, and Smart Specialization Strategies (S3)\u2014which align funding mechanisms, ecoschemes, and innovation incentives with sustainable farming goals. This paper aims to present a datadriven and practice-oriented perspective on deploying carbon farming at scale, offering insights into monitoring methodologies, policy integration, and the systemic challenges hindering adoption. Ultimately, it outlines a roadmap for harmonizing carbon farming technologies with policy and market frameworks to achieve measurable climate outcomes in agriculture.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
