The Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD) is established by Law 4468/2017; a non-profit legal entity of private law with the purpose of the implementation and management of the National Accreditation System, has administrative and financial autonomy and is supervised by the Minister of Development & Investments. The Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD) has been appointed as the National Accreditation Body of Greece to assess the technical competence, independence and impartiality of certification, inspection and verification bodies as well as testing and calibration laboratories.
